Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

I accept out-of-network insurance!

I partner with Thrizer to handle reimbursements automatically for you. Once your deductible is met, you only pay your co-insurance and any rate differences, instead of paying my full fee and waiting for reimbursements. During our first connection call, I can help you verify whether you have benefits, your deductible amount, and how much your out-of-pocket cost would be.

What is your fee?

My fee for individual therapy is $200 per session.

I live outside of California, can I still work with you?

Therapists can only provide services in the state they are licensed in, so if you don’t live in California, unfortunately, no I cannot work with you.

Do you offer services in person?

Yes! I provide in-person therapy at my office in Escondido for adults who feel anxious, guilty, or stuck in the middle of family conflicts. Together, we’ll work on boundaries, reduce anxiety, and help you feel more confident saying no — without losing connection to the people you care about.

Where is your office space located?

My office is located in Escondido, California and serves clients from Escondido and nearby North County San Diego areas.

Do you offer virtual therapy?

Absolutely. I offer secure virtual therapy sessions for adults across California. Online sessions are a great option if you prefer the convenience of home, have a busy schedule, or want privacy while exploring family dynamics, guilt, and anxiety.

How often will we meet & for how long?

Sessions are 45 minutes long and I meet with clients weekly, as from my experience this allows us to do the deeper work. We may decide to go biweekly as we decide to close up our work together. You can choose in-person therapy in Escondido or virtual therapy across California. Together, we’ll create a safe, judgment-free space to talk openly, explore patterns, and build practical strategies for boundaries, anxiety, and guilt.

When it comes to how long you will be in therapy, it’s all about what works for you, most of the clients I work with prefer longer term work together.

Do you work with first-generation adults?

Yes. Many of my clients are first-generation adults navigating cultural and family pressures. Therapy can support you in balancing family expectations with your own needs and help you manage guilt, anxiety, and responsibility without burning out.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or guilty around family expectations, or if you struggle to say no and honor your own needs, therapy can help. You don’t need to wait for a crisis — even small steps toward understanding yourself and your patterns can make a big difference.

If you find yourself over-responsible for family members or feel guilty when setting limits, therapy can help. We’ll work on understanding where that guilt comes from, developing healthy boundaries, and managing anxiety — all in a way that respects your relationships and your needs.

What issues do you typically work on in therapy?

  • Anxiety related to family or cultural expectations

  • Being caught in the middle of family conflicts
