Hi, I’m Jasmine
-
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate approaches that help us understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while also exploring the deeper experiences that shaped them. Learn about some of those approaches below:
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy is an evidence-based, trauma-informed approach that helps you better understand the different parts of yourself that influence the way you think, feel, and respond to life's challenges. You may notice a part of you that worries, avoids conflict, strives for perfection, or feels responsible for everyone else. Rather than judging or trying to get rid of these reactions, IFS helps us approach them with curiosity and compassion, recognizing that they often developed as ways to protect you.
IFS also acknowledges that beneath these protective parts, there is a core Self—a grounded, compassionate, and confident part of us that can lead with curiosity, understanding, and healing. The goal of IFS is not to get rid of parts of ourselves, but to build a healthier relationship with them so we can respond to life with more balance, flexibility, and self-trust.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based approach that helps you learn how to make space for difficult thoughts and emotions instead of constantly fighting against them. ACT focuses on building psychological flexibility—helping you become more present, clarify what matters most to you, and take actions that align with your values.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By becoming more aware of patterns that may be keeping you stuck, CBT helps you develop healthier ways of responding to challenges.

Anxiety Therapist in Escondido, CA
providing services in person & virtually in San Diego & throughout CA.
Maybe this is your first time looking into therapy, you’ve done therapy before, or you were raised in a family that doesn’t believe in therapy. I am not here to fix you, but as your anxiety therapist I am here to support you.
Therapy with me is a place where its about you and your story. While getting some coping skills is important, the space I provide is a place where we can go deeper, and do intentional work around anxiety, family expectations, cultural identity, or the patterns that are keeping you stuck.
This is a space for adults who are ready to invest in their well being, their relationships, and the way they show up in their life.
Language + Connection
I also speak Spanish—no es perfecto—but we make it work.
We can start where you are.
What Sets This Work Apart ?
Identity-aware, culturally attuned care
For many first-generation Latinas and adults, anxiety is deeply connected to family expectations, cultural values, and responsibility. That context is not separate from your healing—it’s central to it.
Depth over quick fixes
We don’t stay on the surface of coping skills alone. We explore what’s underneath your anxiety—your patterns, your relationships, your family dynamics, and the expectations you’ve been carrying for years.
A consistent, contained space
Therapy here is structured, steady, and intentional. Most clients attend weekly, allowing us to build momentum and create real change over time—not fragmented support.
Direct, grounded guidance
I’m warm and supportive, but also direct when it’s helpful. I won’t just reflect—I’ll help you notice patterns, connect dots, and understand yourself in a clearer way.
What Sessions Are Like
You can show up exactly as you are—anxious, uncertain, overwhelmed, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together.
We slow things down and pay attention to what’s actually happening in your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Sometimes we process family dynamics. Sometimes we sit with discomfort instead of avoiding it. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we swear, and sometimes things feel heavy.
You’re also always allowed to cry without needing to hold it together.
The goal isn’t to rush you through your experience—it’s to help you understand it in a way that creates lasting change.

Not at all. While I specialize in supporting first-generation adults and women navigating cultural expectations, I welcome anyone who may or may not resonate with those experiences and is looking for a therapist who values authenticity, collaboration, and keeping it real.
-
The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of therapy. I offer a free 15 minute consultation via telephone so we can talk about what you are hoping to work on in therapy, answer your questions, and see if working together feels like a good fit.
-
Yes. I provide bilingual therapy in English and Spanish. You are welcome to speak in which ever language feels most comfortable to you, or even switch between the two during our sessions. As a Spanish speaking therapist, my goal is to create a space where you can express yourself authentically without feeling like you have to translate your thoughts or experiences.

As an anxiety therapist I offer both. We can meet in person at my Escondido office or through secure online therapy if you are anywhere in California.
